And since I am sitting here, here are a couple other recent events I forgot to mention.
Alyssa's first ever BFF, Bayley moved away 3 years ago but she is in town visiting her grandparents for a few weeks. The day she flew in, they had plans and needed someone to watch her and I answered with a big old HECK YEAH when they asked me. I pulled the kids out of school and we had so much fun. We wanted to go to Six Flags, but is was 42 and rainy all day. Hopefully they will let me borrow her again. I loved hearing her and Alyssa reminisce, but it also made me sad. I so miss the Harrises! Bayley's dad flew in with her and then headed back to CA but Seth did get in a golf trip with him before he took off. Now we just need to get the rest of the gang out here for a visit.
Chloe LOVED Bayley and held her hand and followed her every step. She told me when she gets her big American Girl doll, she will name it Bayley.
And last weekend was the Father/Son campout for church. Since I wasn't there I can not give you any details but here are the pictures that Seth texted to me.
While the boys were camping the girls got to come along with me for another one of our fun Beehive Kidnap parties. I didn't get any pics but we had fun like we always do, and the girls all made Chloe and Alyssa feel very welcome and excited to join YW one day.
And the only other picture I see in my recent shots is this goofy thing.
I took that on Chloe's last day of school because she made me one every time she went to school all year. I will miss my twice weekly bling.
Alright, all caught up now! Well, except for that we have another friend visiting tonight. Our friend Mike is here just for tonight and him and Seth are off at the movies right this minute. Me and the kids are bummed that Jen and the girls couldn't join him but we are hoping to swing by their farm in SD on our grand road trip adventure this summer.
Okay, now I am caught up. For a couple minutes anyway...

I miss Father/Son overnighters. It's sad when all the sons grow up and are gone and the overnighters don't happen any more.

And best friends last forever, even when living across the country from each other. Looks like Alyssa has a great friend there.
Two bracelets a week? Even for a mean mommy??? Wow! That's endearing. Haha - so cute!
Love the pic of Alex and Seth! Mike and Jack are off to camp tonight, I'll have to get him to snap a pic as well. Love that their eyes are closed!
SD is close to WY....are you going to be in our territory? Let me know we would love to see you guys.
Kory, Yes, we will be nearby. We are actually driving to UT, then CA, then WY, then SD, then home. Ugh!!! So much driving, but we are hoping to link up with more friends and family members that way. Seth keeps saying he is going to get in touch with Corey and see if we can meet up, but I am not even sure he has a current # for you guys? If you want to e-mail it to me I'll have Seth give Corey a call. It's been what??? 8 or 9 years? We are way overdue for a visit.
Congrats to Alex! He really is progressing so fast. So glad he's found something he loves and is good at. How fun for Alyssa to spend time with her very first BFF. I know you guys were close to the Harrises, so it's nice that at least the kids can hang out once in a blue moon.
We were utterly bummed about not being able to visit WI, too. It's all Mike's fault since his original plan was to go next weekend, but this silly (ok, necessary) training thing popped up. We definitely hope it works out to have you visit SD this summer.
Jen, I wish you and the girls had come too!!! Did Mike tell you that Chloe asked him if she could go home with him? Then later that day she asked if I could call him and invite him to Six Flags, just me, him and her. Ha,ha! The kids are dying to see the farm. Alex was looking at pics and asked Mike if people go on field trips there. Not yet, but at the rate you are growing, maybe someday. Anyway, we can't wait to see you guys!
