Remember how I bought Seth concert tickets for Christmas? As it turned out the week was so busy that the excitement about the concert kind of got swallowed up in everything else that was going on but we did still manage to get there and have a good time.
It was at Miller Park and it was 7 hours of standing on our feet, during a week where we had already done a whole lot of feet standing. The first two acts were Kacey Musgraves, who we had already seen at the Class Of show in January, and The Eli Young Band. We did spend some time standing in the t-shirt line while they performed.
Next up was Eric Church, who is Seth's current favorite and then Kenny Chesney closed the show. Those last two were really good but I would not choose to go to a show at a baseball park again because it was really hard to hear. We knew most of the songs so we could figure out what they were saying but if they played anything we did not know I couldn't make out what they were saying and when they talked to the crowd I never understood a word. So not the best acoustics in an open air ball park but it was still one big party and it made for some really good people watching.
Seth loved the show and especially Eric Church so score one gift giving point for me.
We were in the lower section of the ball park but not on the field so getting a decent picture was tough. I can't imagine how people up in the nose bleeds could see a dang thing? On screen, I guess.

It was so bright behind us that we couldn't get a good pic but it is evidence that we were there so I'll include it anyway.
When it was over we had a one hour drive home, where we packed our bags and then slept for exactly an hour and a half before it was time to get up and get to the airport.

At least you were kid-less on the plane so I am assuming you were able to sleep on the flight?

Wow, you are crazy for going to a concert right before a big trip! It sounds like a lot of fun though even if you could hardly tell what was playing...haha. You and Seth have really gotten some good "alone" time lately which is always good:)
Is it an actual Eric Church hat or just the hat Eric Church wears? I've never seen an artist wear his own merchandise?!

Val, It is the same hat and it has Eric Church's name on it. I have never seen that before either. Kenny Chesney's souvenir tees all had pictures of him laying on the beach drinking beer. Who wants that?
