Here's a taste of last night's dinner table conversaton, that offers the rare glimpse in to the mind of our quirky Alex.
Alex: My mom is prettier than your mom. (repeated 50 times)
I don't think he was saying this to anyone in particular, just singing to himself again and again, but I decided to respond.
Julie: I think my mom is super pretty.
Alyssa: I think she is pretty too. She is super pretty for an old lady.
Alex: But her face doesn't glitter.
Julie: Neither does mine.
Alex: It does in my world.

LeShel, I just figured ot why Alex and Nic both love taekwondo so much. They are training to take out daddy. Glad to know that my son is not the only one who is not outgrowing his Oedipus comlex.
I am not comfortable with the "old lady" part but other than that this is very sweet. Although he needs to check out grama's make up sometime.
Awe how sweet. Jack asked me the other day if my pants were ripped so I could fit them over my belly. That's one conversation I'm not going to write down! BUT this one is a keeper!
You are probably right about Alex training to take down Seth one day. You better start locking your bedroom door at night. Mimi still wants to marry Mike, too.
