On Saturday we started gearing up for Easter.
We dyed eggs, about 4 dozen.
We attended the Harley Davidson Easter Egg Hunt, because that seemed so Tennessee-ish.
They were split up by age. Luckily we have two 5 year olds, and two 7 year olds so only 4 parents were needed to accommodate our 6 kids. I was assigned to our 7 year olds, Alyssa and Cedar, so that is who was photographed.
They also had their "picture made" (that's what they say in TN) with the Easter Bunny and I am waiting for them to be posted on Harley's website so I can post them here.
Here is the whole group after the hunt. Olive found the golden egg for her age group and got a giant prize basket. Such excitement!
Then we headed back to the house for lots more swinging, and outdoor play.
Watch out girls, don't crash!
Chloe rarely got out of the swing. Luckily we had lots of kids who were willing to take a turn pushing her.
"I do it, mommy?"
"What appen, it's no working mommy."
Saturday night, Sarah got a babysitter and the adults headed back to Knoxville. Of course, if I don't have kids with me I rarely take out the camera, but I did get a shot of Seth trying to catch a lobster in the claw. If you could catch it, they would cook it for free. They told us up front that no one ever catches one.
Seth had it in the claw, but a living animal is not stupid enough to just sit there, and he wiggled his way free.
After our night out, we stayed up late stuffing lots and lots of plastic eggs for the big day!

Wow, a Harley Davidson Easter egg hunt! I thought taking our kids to a local Christian church where we had to throw out a Hallelujah before they would start was pretty exciting, but I guess not.
Julie I've enjoyed your trip commentary. It sounds like a lot of fun. Technology definitely comes in handy for car trips when you have kids.
I love all of your Easter posts! It all looks like SO much fun. There's nothing like holiday fun with family...And, I have to say-I LOVE the picture of you with the kids. You look gorgeous. That big Harley, all those adorable kiddos, and my eyes went straight to you. Beautiful pic. :)
P.S. I was REALLY hoping that on the last post, Seth was going to catch that darn lobster!!!
Looks like a fun egg hunt. Did they let the kids ride around on Harley's while searching for their eggs? Wow, Olive got quite a prize!
Ha, catch a lobster, just like those toy grabbers. So what happens to those lobsters since nobody ever catches them?
That is a really good pic of you! I like how Seth posted up in a chair so he could keep pushing Chloe...funny.

Jen, I was wondering what becomes of those lobsters too since lobster was not even on the menu.
