With 2 teeth to her name, Chloe is officially our early teether. She got one right at 13 months and the next one just a few days later. The other two monkeys got one at 14 months and the second at 18 months. Maybe Chloe will have more than 4 1/2 teeth on her 2nd birthday.
I was trying to get a big smile so you could see Chloe's teeth so I leaned around the camera and made a face at her. So she leaned around the camera and made a face at me...
But then she smiled, or laughed at herself actually.
Another thing Chloe does that Alex and Alyssa did not is go to sleep on her own. Our other kids could not be put down until they were sound asleep for 20 minutes at least. Ever since Chloe quit nursing she just tells me NiNi when she is tired and I lay her down and she SLEEPS. We are loving that!
Chloe is also talking. Not like Alyssa the freakishly early talker but far more than Alex who I am convinced talked late because me and Alyssa never let him get a word in.
She says all of our names, kind of. Mama, Dada, Al and Dee (what Alex used to call Alyssa) Some of my other favorite words include balloon, baby, diaper, and thank you (which is used to express gratitude AND to say "give me that please").
So what is our little genius not doing these days??? Walking!
A few weeks ago we caught her walking from couch to couch a few times but as soon as she knew she was caught she stopped trying. We got a few steps on camera and I think that made her really mad. She refuses to put her feet under her now when we try to put her down.
So stubborn!
It actually cracks me up because I didn't walk until I was 18 months old. My dad always tells me that when I finally walked I did it perfectly on the first try. I bet I was practicing in private because you all know I hate to be seen doing anything I am not good at. So practice away Chloe, no rush.
Proof that I can walk but I don't want you to know so please destroy this tape so Mommy can't embarass me with it. Thanks, Chloe

YEAAAAAAA!!!!! Olivia just started walking almost 2 weeks ago. She still crawls alot though. It is so cute to see this baby walking around. Oh and she is just barely getting her top teeth. I guess they are just late bloomers. Now people cant say oh my baby started walking when she was 2 months old when is yours going to start walking.

Aww... that's so cute. I love when they start doing the hurry and walk before I crash thing. Her smile just lights up the room doesn't it?
My favorite is Chloe's fat little legs suspended in mid air at the start of the video. She will not only walk, but run to hug me when we visit in April!
She is so cute and that sleeping trick is one of the best a kid can have if you ask me. I love the video! It is so interesting how kids do things on their own timeline.
She is sooo stinking cute... always a smile on that cute lil face! I love that pix with the tongue out...so cute! I cant believe how big she is...they grow TOO fast!
Oh, so cute. I love her smile while she's doing it.
