Jazz Girls

So much for catching up during my break. I still have Christmas pics that need to be loaded to the computer. My new classes started Monday and it looks like another fun semester! I have Brit Lit, Organizational Comm, and Family Stress and Coping. None of them look as bad as my English class last semester, although Brit Lit does look very heavy on the reading. American Lit was the same but it felt like a treat. Romanticism and Neoclassicism don't really pull my heart strings, but I have the same great teacher I had for American Lit and I love to study literature so I am still excited about it. Anyway, I had no intention of boring you with my syllabus list. Allow me to get back on track.

Yesterday, Kennon and I took Chloe and Kayleigh to get their pictures taken. They missed the picture day at their dance studio so we took them to Portrait Innovations. We bought WAY too much. We chose 16 "favorite" poses and each one came with 3 sheets. Did we need 3 sheets of each? Surely not, but that is the way you have to do it if you want the collection that comes with the CD including all of the images, and the cute little personalized books and a bunch of other stuff that will now go in a drawer. Our husbands have decided we can not go out unsupervised in the future, but the girls had the best time and I actually do think the pictures came out super cute. I rarely think that when I go to get pictures. Since these came on a CD, it was easy to load them, so forget Christmas for now and just look at these cute girls.

Here are some of the shots. If you see something you like, speak up because I have many many copies to share. And what do you do with a billion copies of pics of your kid with someone else's kid? Who wants those other than the two families involved? Yeah, we didn't think very hard when we were ordering but best friends are awesome and it was all worth it.

This is my favorite shot of just Chloe. I got this one in 11x13. I think she is beautiful! Oh, and this is unrelated but last time I posted dance pics she had a bald spot on her head. The doc treated it like a fungus for over a year and I kept telling them it was not a fungus, but cradle cap. I finally went to a dermatologist and it was cradle cap. She has dermititis, which is not curable and the dermatologist thinks it will probably turn in to psoriasis, but it is treatable and she is finally all cleared up and her bald spot is filled in. Anyway, on to the shot.

I will only post solos of Chloe since she is my kid and I don't want to be creepy, but Kayleigh had some gorgeous solo shots as well.

The ones that say Portrait Innovations on the bottom are some of the ones we did not print. The CD is supposed to come with the rights to the pics, so I think I just loaded them from the wrong file. Oh well, they don't have a watermark so you can still see the full shot.

Pretty cute Jazz girls! They are dancing to "We Got the Beat" and Chloe actually bothered to learn the moves this year. She can improv dance moves for hours at a time, but asking her to learn choreography is quite the bother apparently.
