Hot Chocolate Snow Angels: Good For What Ails You

We have had a busy week. Lots of puke and poop to clean, and cough drops to be distributed, and be sure throw in some cramps just to make sure we have all our maladies covered. We are used to it. It is a fact of Wisconsin life, that once you have school aged children, everyone in the household will get sick in October. Every October. And no two sicknesses will be exactly alike.

We are trooping through it this week, like we do every year.

We are doing okay, but don't stop by because there is NO time for even basic housekeeping. NO time for blogging. And definitely NO time for hot chocolate snow angels.

And yet....

No, you do not need to apologize if you laughed. I laughed, too. Most kids would sneak in to get a bite of chocolate cake, but how many kids dump out hot chocolate just because they "wanted to play in it mom."?

Oh, Chloe! What will she think of next? You better be glad she's not mine. She'd have a permanent cage to stay in while we're at home.

Chloe, I'm totally in your court! I've survived the twins having flour fights and turning the kitchen floor into a slip and slide with a full bottle of cheap vanilla. You're so right! When there isn't snow outside (though I do think you're pushing the season a little for that), you just gotta improvise!

Chloe you will need to get a hotel when you are in CA. Although I remember two angels who snuck out at nap time, drank the syrup and washed my carpet with a huge bottle of concentrated laundy soap. The carpet had to be replaced. Be thankful for wooden floors.

I can honestly say we've never done hot chocolate snow angels at our house. We've done them in baby powder, but I bet the hot chocolate tastes a lot better.
