Then we had a relay race with the conversation hearts. They had to carry them in a spoon and race to empty one bowl and fill another one across the room. The pictures are kind of lame but they were working so hard and playing so nicely...
Because they knew when the bowl was full they could stuff their cute faces.
Then the moms came back and we all had lunch and watched the kids pass out their Valentines. Sorry no pictures of lunch because it was my turn to stuff my face.
And then we made cookie pizzas which I have been thinking about since the Superbowl. On Superbowl Sunday we ordered pizza (I know, shame on us) and I fell in love with Pizza Huts' bright red box and I knew I had to do something Valentines-ish with it.
So I covered the logo
And baked 6 giant cookies (one pound of dough each was perfect to fit in a medium box)
And then we decorated them with icing, sprinkles, conversation hearts, cupids mix M&M's and more sprinkles.
Alyssa had half day at school so she got home in time for some of the fun.

I had lots of fun. I LOVE my playgroup. I went into it so that Alex would have something to do but as it turns out it has become my sad excuse for a social life too.

I'm glad you put the pictures on so fast!! Thanks for emailing them as well. That was seriously such a cute Valentines activity. Everything was great! I've already put the pizza box idea in my idea file box. I think I need to go get some before they change the box.

Dang! Those pizza cookies are so rad. I like the mailboxes too. My favorite is Al's face when he is grubbing the candy...so cute!
