Yesterday was my little sister Kristen's 22nd birthday. I was going to post this yesterday but my pictures are being goofy and I can only access a few so sorry Kris...this is the only picture of you that I could get to work.

Kristen is my youngest sister and the 4th girl in a row for my mom. My mom was so ready to have a boy when Kristen arrived but I was so excited to get another sister. Since I was almost 11 when she was born I was old enough to help take care of her. I loved it! I would feed her and dress her and just carry her around all the time. My mom swears that Kristen never stopped crying as a baby but I thought she was just perfect. I remember getting so excited to get home from school and see my baby girl everyday.
Since we had so many girls in the family we had to share rooms. I was thrilled when they decided to put Kristen's crib in my room. She would stand up in bed and turn the lights on all night, or just stand and talk to me from her crib and eventually she learned to climb out and then she would just get in my bed. I am not sure I got much sleep with her in there but I loved being the big sister. Kristen was my baby.
Now Kristen is this beautiful young woman but I still think about her, worry about her and pray for her just like she was still that adorable baby girl. I miss her and I get so excited when I get to see her. She is so silly and funny and my kids think she is such a good Auntie...all the kids are just drawn to Kristen, but then again, most people are.
So, happy birthday commissioner!!! Since my pictures weren't working I thought you might like this picture instead.
