So, we are 2 weeks into school and I am finally posting pictures. On Alyssa's first day it was 87 degrees out which was hotter than it was all summer so she couldn't wear her "first day of school dress" until the second day, when the temperature dropped to 68 degrees. Luckily my sisters Valerie and Kristen bought her cute summer clothes for her birthday that were still pretty new so she wore that on the first day.
Then little Alex finally got his turn to go to school. I think he started counting down 2 years ago. He was so excited that he asked if he could go to bed at 4:00 in the afternoon on the day before school started. He was so proud to put on his backpack and march off to preschool, although he says he is in Kindergarten.

Alex only goes 6 hours a week but I think Chloe appreciates the break. She doesn't have to fear for her life for a few hours.
