The Big Read, an initiative by the National Endowment for the Arts, has estimated that the average adult has only read 6 of the top 100 books they’ve printed. How do you do?
1) Look at the list and color those you have read.
2) Italicize those you intend to read.
3) Remark on the books you LOVE.

That one is maybe even better than Les MisI have seen this on a few blogs that I read so I thought I would see how well read I am? I did better than the average of 6 (34, and I think I should get partial credit for reading almost all of Shakespeare's works) but I am not even half way to the 100 mark. I would like to see a list of the top 100 books ever written, not just the top 100 that have been printed because Harry Potter? Seriously? How do you get any points from The National Endowment for the Arts for that? I know, I am a book snob.
